Effective 19 July 2026

Redoist is built local-first: the app is fully usable without an account, and your data stays on your device unless you decide otherwise. This page describes what is — and isn’t — collected, in plain language.

The app, by default

Nothing you create in Redoist ever leaves your device unless you sign in — your routines, tasks, notes, completions, and reflections live in a local database on your device, with no advertising and no analytics tracking.

If you sign in for sync

Signing in is optional, and exists only to back up your data and keep it in sync across your devices. When you do, two kinds of data are stored on our servers:

Your data is never sold, never shared with third parties for marketing, and never used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Purchases

If you buy Redoist Plus, the purchase is processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, our billing provider. We receive a pseudonymous purchase record — never your payment details. At launch, the app also checks your purchase status with RevenueCat using an anonymous identifier, whether or not you’ve bought anything — this reveals nothing about your routines, tasks, or notes.
